Lisa Allen-Agostini

Lisa Allen-Agostini is a writer and editor from Trinidad and Tobago. Apart from Home Home, her books include the domestic noir novel The Bread the Devil Knead (Myriad Editions UK, 2021) and the YA action-adventure novel The Chalice Project (Macmillan Caribbean, 2008). She co-edited the crime anthology Trinidad Noir (Akashic Books, 2008). Her book of poems Swallowing the Sky was published by Cane Arrow Press in 2015.

The manuscript for Home Home won a CODE Burt Award for YA Caribbean Literature before being published by Papillote Press in 2018. A North American edition was published in 2020 by Delacorte Press.

She is also half of the feminist comedy duo FemComTT and writes and performs comedy under the name Just Lisa.
