Petrea Honychurch Seaman

Petrea Honychurch Seaman was born and grew up on the Caribbean island of Dominica before moving to the US, where she studied landscape architecture. Back in Dominica, she began to write children’s fiction inspired by her two young daughters, both great readers and explorers of this lush and mountainous island. Goodnight My Sweet Island – her first book – is a homage to her homeland and celebrates the magic of Caribbean wildlife and culture.

She is a website and graphic designer living in Jamaica with her husband and children.
